{"id":68470,"date":"2024-10-28T12:40:20","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T16:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tuttopavimenti.com\/?p=68470"},"modified":"2024-10-28T12:40:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-28T16:40:20","slug":"woman-whose-boyfriend-killed-and-cooked-her-named-as-mayang-prasetyo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tuttopavimenti.com\/es\/woman-whose-boyfriend-killed-and-cooked-her-named-as-mayang-prasetyo\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman whose boyfriend killed and cooked her named as Mayang Prasetyo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman who was brutally hacked to death by her husband in a tragic murder-suicide in Brisbane has been identified as Indonesian transsexual Mayang Prasetyo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parts of the 27-year-old&#8217;s body were found strewn across a Teneriffe apartment &#8211; in the Queensland capital&#8217;s inner-city &#8211; and some had been cooked up by her chef husband, Marcus Peter Volke, on a stove.<\/p>\n<p>Volke, 28, slit his own throat soon after fleeing police when they knocked on the door of the couple&#8217;s home after receiving complaints of a bad smell on Saturday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Scroll down for video\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Mayang Prasetyo has been named as the woman at the centre of a brutal murder-suicide in Brisbane<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Marcus Volke with his wife, Mayang Prasetyo, who once advertised herself as a transsexual high-class escort<\/p>\n<p>Marcus Peter Volke, 28, slit his own throat as he fled the Brisbane apartment where he is believed to have dismembered his Indonesian wife<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Parts Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s body were found strewn across the couple&#8217;s new Teneriffe apartment on Saturday<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In an ironic twist Volke, who maintained two Facebook profiles under his name, was an outspoken opponent of violence against women in various <a href=\"https:\/\/ajt-ventures.com\/?s=social%20media\">social media<\/a> posts.<\/p>\n<p>Less than a month before the killing, the 28-year-old posted a link to a news story about a man who was bashed by a gang for standing up for a group of women, saying &#8216;champion mate&#8217; as he applauded the victim.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed anger over two Indian girls who were hanged after being gang-raped as the ruling government called it a &#8216;social crime&#8217; back in June.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s mother, Nining Sukarni, told the\u00a0Courier Mail from Indonesia she was shocked by her eldest child&#8217;s death, who she referred to as her son Febri.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Sukarni said Ms Prasetyo was &#8216;fine&#8217; when they spoke last week and described Volke as &#8216;quiet&#8217; and &#8216;submissive&#8217; when the couple visited her in Indonesia last year.<\/p>\n<p>She said Ms Prasetyo moved to Brisbane to be with her husband but wanted to return to Bali after complaining of being &#8216;bored&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Febri did not feel at home in Brisbane, however, he started to breed dogs about a month ago and hoped that would keep him occupied,&#8217; she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>&#8216;I told him to be good with one another and not to fight.&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s mother said her eldest child would send back money to Indonesia, which paid for her two younger sisters, 18 and 15, to attend school.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>A friend of Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s said the couple got married around late November or early December<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The 27-year-old is an Indonesian national transsexual and friends say she liked to travel<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Her Facebook page listed drag show Le Femme Garcon as her most recent employer<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ms\u00a0Prasetyo is originally from Denpasar in Bali &#8211; the Indonesian holiday island &#8211; according to her Facebook page<\/p>\n<p>According to Volke&#8217;s Facebook page, the pair have been engaged since August last year but a friend of Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s said they were married around late November or early December.<\/p>\n<p>The man &#8211; who did not wish to be named &#8211; told Daily Mail Australia Ms Prasetyo and Volke came to visit him in Germany for their honeymoon.<\/p>\n<p><b>He said the couple seemed &#8216;very happy&#8217; when he saw them together in December.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Volke was a bit of a shy guy.\u00a0He didn&#8217;t talk too much,&#8217; the friend &#8211; who met Ms Prasetyo in 2009 when they studied German together at the Goethe institute in Indonesian city Surabaya &#8211; told Daily Mail Australia.<\/p>\n<p><b>&#8216;Mayang is nice and kind girl too. She liked travelling.&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Volke grew up in Ballarat with three other siblings and trained in martial arts at his parents&#8217; business, Kyokushin Karate<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old&#8217;s mother said he had only recently settled in Brisbane with Ms Prasetyo after both working on international cruise ships as chefs<\/p>\n<p>In an ironic twist Volke, who maintained two Facebook profiles under his name, was an outspoken opponent of violence against women in various social media posts<\/p>\n<p>The couple, who had only recently moved in to the Brisbane apartment complex, met while both working for an international cruise chip company.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A former school friend of Volke&#8217;s from Ballarat in regional Victoria said the chef had a dark side and an &#8216;intense&#8217; gaze.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He was a good guy, he was a bit up and down, he could lose his temper like anyone can but for the most part he was just like anyone else. He was just one of the boys,&#8217; the friend, who didn&#8217;t want to be named told the local newspaper, The Courier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He was always a little different. He was very quiet. He was also extremely cold, I have never met anyone like him before.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As detectives continue their investigation into the two deaths, they say Volke did not have a criminal history or record of mental illness.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ms Prasetyo&#8217;s Facebook page was flooded with heartfelt tributes from friends<\/b><\/p>\n<p><u><b>The 27-year-old was described as &#8216;a happy, cheerful person&#8217; and would be missed<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<p><b>Some friends said they had heard about her death through numerous news outlets<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Most of her friends were in shock to learn of the news which has rocked affluent suburb Teneriffe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Shocked friends of Ms Prasetyo took to her social media profile to pay tribute to her.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Rip beautiful, the world will not be the same without you. They hadn&#8217;t been in Brisbane for very long, only a few months. They were starting to get settled.
