Stephen Webb has been given some brutal home truths by a relationship expert ahead of his appearance on the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating.<\/p>\n

He is very much in recovery. I’m glad he’s here, we can help him and can give him some new skills. He hasn’t dated for a long time. So perhaps his behaviour isn’t up to date with what’s acceptable in 2024. Stephen doesn’t have bad intentions… but he has poor communication. Improving that is key.<\/p>\n ‘On a date you have to do audience analysis. You can’t just say what you want… this is not just about you. It’s about two people. He lacks those skills. When you observe your date and how they react to say a sex joke… you have to be able to then adjust.<\/p>\n ‘I’m not saying people should change who they truly are. But the way they are can be adjusted…for him that’s the challenge. Then he’ll have a much more successful and pleasant time.’<\/p>\n When asked if she foresaw Stephen being challenge for the experts, she said: ‘He’s open to learning and very receptive to our advice and feedback. He’s a very sweet guy and so genuine. But we need to see if he’s listening and actually implementing it.<\/p>\n ‘Ask me after a few weeks. I don’t know if he has the capacity to implement… he’s being a bit chaotic right now. He needs to work on himself and find himself outside of his marriage.
